This upcoming functionality will utilise AI to automatically compile a digital representation of your wardrobe based on the clothing items found in your Google Photos library. Users will have the capability to sort their items into categories—such as tops, bottoms, and accessories—enabling them to mix and match for new ensembles.
The concept of a digital closet, reminiscent of the “Clueless” portrayal of luxury and ease in selecting outfits, has long intrigued the fashion sector. Google’s latest venture seeks to democratise this experience, making it accessible to anyone as AI technology continues to evolve.
