Nvidia Unveils Two Groundbreaking ‘Personal AI Supercomputers’

by admin

At the GTC 2025 event, Nvidia introduced an innovative series of “AI personal supercomputers” driven by its advanced Grace Blackwell chip platform. CEO Jensen Huang took the stage to present two cutting-edge machines: the DGX Spark and DGX Station, previously known as Project Digits. These systems are specifically designed for optimising, fine-tuning, and executing AI models of various complexities at the edge of computing.

Huang declared, “This is the computer of the age of AI,” asserting that these machines represent the future of computing. He emphasised that Nvidia is catering to enterprises with a versatile range of products, from compact devices to full-fledged workstations.

The DGX Spark boasts a remarkable processing capability, delivering up to 1,000 trillion operations per second, facilitated by the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. In contrast, the DGX Station is powered by the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip and features a substantial 784GB of memory, catering to more extensive computing requirements.

The DGX Spark is already available in the market, while the DGX Station is set to launch later this year through several notable manufacturing partners, including Asus, Boxx, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Huang remarked on the omnipresence of AI agents, stating that their operation and the systems enterprises employ will undergo fundamental changes, necessitating a new generation of computers which these offerings aim to fulfil.
