On Wednesday, Netflix revealed a new feature for iOS users, enabling them to download an entire season of their preferred TV series with just a single tap. This functionality was initially rolled out for Android users.
The Season Download button can be found in the Netflix app, positioned next to the Share button on the page of each show. This feature allows users to swiftly download all episodes from a chosen season of a series. Once downloaded, the entire season will be accessible in the Downloads section under the My Netflix tab.

This new functionality is particularly beneficial for those who travel or frequently find themselves in locations with limited internet connectivity. Previously, users were restricted to downloading one episode at a time, which was often a cumbersome and lengthy process. Now, viewers can effortlessly get ready for trips by downloading entire seasons of shows like “Blacklist,” which contains around 22 episodes per season.
The announcement made on Wednesday follows the release of the company’s fourth-quarter earnings report, which highlighted a record-breaking 19 million new subscribers.
