Google’s Gemini Introduces Video and Screen-Based Questioning Capabilities

by admin

Google is enhancing its AI assistant, Gemini, with innovative new features that allow users to interact with it using on-screen content or video in real-time.

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 held in Barcelona, the tech giant unveiled a groundbreaking “Screenshare” feature. This functionality enables users to share their phone screen with Gemini and pose questions regarding the displayed content. For instance, the demonstration showcased a user browsing for baggy jeans, inquiring how to style them with other clothing items.

Regarding the video search capability, Google initially previewed this feature at the previous Google I/O event. Users will be able to film a video and ask Gemini questions in real-time as they capture the footage.

According to Google, these new functionalities will be available to Gemini Advanced users under the Google One AI Premium plan on Android devices later this month.
