Phil Libin, the founder of Evernote, is transforming the video meeting experience with his startup mmhmm’s latest offering, Airtime. Launched in response to the pandemic in 2020, Airtime is a comprehensive video toolkit designed to enhance online meetings. It features two main tools: the Airtime Creator and the Airtime Camera, which aim to elevate professionalism and engagement during virtual interactions.
The Airtime Creator allows users to not only share slides but also present them dynamically, with up to ten participants visible on screen at any given time. The startup is backed by prominent investors, including Sequoia Capital and the SoftBank Vision Fund, having previously raised $100 million. To entice users, the Airtime Camera will be free until August 1, after which a one-time fee of $20 will apply. The Airtime Creator is available through a subscription model priced at $10 per month, with a free trial for new users.
