An intriguing conversation ensued at the SIGGRAPH 2024 conference in Colorado on Monday, featuring Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which veered into some rather unexpected territory.
The dialogue commenced with discussions on the impressive potentials of Nvidia GPUs by Huang and Zuckerberg’s ambitious outlook on a future dominated by AI chatbots. Nevertheless, the conversation took a light-hearted turn when the two executives exchanged specially designed jackets, reminiscent of a popular meme that had circulated earlier.
Zuckerberg, describing the jacket he presented to Huang, said, “It’s black, leather, and shearling. It’s all about the vibe. This guy just needs a chain to complete the look.”

In return, Huang presented Zuckerberg with a leather jacket that his wife, Lori, had acquired as a souvenir from this year’s SIGGRAPH, which he had been adorning for the recent couple of hours.
“This holds more value now since it’s pre-worn,” Zuckerberg remarked.
The chat delivered several unexpected gems, including Huang teasing Zuckerberg about his newly adopted hobby of rearing cattle on his Hawaiian ranch, an unexpected expletive, and Zuckerberg’s foray into a new fashion style—described by him as in its “initial phase.” The light-hearted jibes continued, owed in part to Meta’s reliance on Nvidia for AI model-training infrastructure.
“What he really needs is an AI that won’t pass judgment,” joked Huang.
A memorable tale shared by Huang involved Zuckerberg’s meticulous method of slicing tomatoes while preparing cheesesteak sandwiches at Huang’s residence, where Zuckerberg displayed precision in every cut, ensuring none of the slices made contact with each other, much to Huang’s amusement.
Huang lightheartedly scolded Zuckerberg for his eagerness for seconds of the cheesesteak, to which Zuckerberg playfully responded, requesting another sandwich.
Concluding on a note of mutual admiration, Huang expressed his impression of Zuckerberg’s physique, admitting, “I think Mark’s quite fit; the guy’s seriously buff.”
In a gesture of camaraderie, Zuckerberg hugged Jensen, reciprocating the compliment, “You too, man.”
