At WWDC 2024, Apple unveiled plans to expand the availability of its Vision Pro headset to eight additional countries, including China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

The initial launch will see the headset released in China, Japan, and Singapore on June 28, with preorder opportunities opening on June 13. Following this, the Vision Pro will hit the markets of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the U.K. on July 12, with preorders beginning on June 28.

Previously, the headset was available in the U.S. for $3,499, and developers had the chance to explore the Vision Pro in select global locations.

“We’ve seen incredible enthusiasm for the Apple Vision Pro, and we’re excited to bring the revolutionary experience of spatial computing to even more customers globally,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

“The possibilities with the Vision Pro are limitless, from working within an infinite canvas for apps and reliving beloved memories in three dimensions to enjoying a unique personal cinema with TV shows and movies or exploring entirely new spatial experiences that stretch the imagination,” Cook added.

Additionally, Apple announced the launch of VisionOS 2 on Monday, introducing features such as “spatialized” photos and enhanced travel mode functionalities for train routes.
